Core Duties Across Major Sectors
1. Wildlife & Animal Husbandry (Zookeepers / Wildlife Keepers)
Daily Husbandry: Formulating, interpreting, and delivering specialized nutritional diets and animal feeds.
Habitat Management: Cleaning, sanitizing, and designing enclosures that closely mimic natural environments to ensure safety and hygiene.
Health Monitoring: Tracking behavior, reporting signs of injury or illness to veterinary staff, and administering prescribed medications.
Enrichment & Training: Designing behavioral programs and utilizing positive reinforcement to reduce stress and assist with safe medical checks.
